Event details

Pah homestead is a bastion of contemporary art - but you may be surprised to know this building was once the site of heartbreak, ill-advised and villainous deeds all with a generous slice of decadence.

Auckland Council's Heritage Assets Advisor Richard Bland invites you on a tour to hear some of the curious colonial characters and related events which have shaped the Pah Homestead, arguably the grandest 19th century residence in the Auckland region and its exotic park landscape.

Richard reveals all about the secrets and lives of past occupants and you can enjoy a historic- themed morning tea.
