Three Kings Volcano erupted 28,000 years ago and is one of the 53 small basalt volcanoes that erupted in the Auckland Volcanic Field over the past 190,000 years.

Geologist and author Bruce Hayward will lead a 3 km walk around and through the volcano pointing out the secrets held in the rocks and landforms that tell the story of how it erupted.
