This exhibition celebrates the West Auckland women who have worked with a team from the Ranui Action Project to realise their goals of self-determination, further education and a future for their families.
The diverse group of women includes indigenous tangata whenua, a former refugee, young single parents and intergenerational households.
Through photos and video, the exhibition and public programme presents their journey.
The programme manager is Edith Amituanai, winner of the inaugural Marti Friedlander Photographic Award.
