This year is the 50th anniversary of the Silverdale and Districts Historical Society. Members past and present have spent much time and energy over the years honouring and preserving the heritage of the area's early settlers.

Take the Time Trail through the Silverdale Pioneer Village and step back to another era. Tracing the early days of Māori occupation, bush felling, gum digging and farming, to the entrepreneurs of their day, this trail gives a fascinating insight into times gone by.

From the lowly bushman's hut to the furnished Edwardian villa, there is something for everyone. The Games Room has a variety of old-fashioned games for children to play with.

Devonshire teas will be available in the parsonage along with our Treats and Treasures craft shop (sorry cash only).
