Varied and fascinating letterpress posters from Auckland printers and beyond have been brought together in this group exhibition 'Love Letters: The Letterpress Poster' at the Nathan Homestead.

The display records the traditions of this handset printing technique, from its invention in early 1400s to its arrival in Auckland in the 1830s and the establishment of the New Zealand Herald.

Included is a contemporary spin on the letterpress process from professional printers, artists and hobbyists who love to print handset type.
