Details

Tired of traffic and motorways? Then take the 'Time Trail' at Silverdale Pioneer Village and be transported back to an age when life was lived in the slow lane.

Stroll along the pathways of the village gardens, explore villas packed with vintage memorabilia and wander down to our exhibition hall for an audio-visual display on the development of the Hibiscus Coast since the construction of the Auckland Harbour Bridge.

Delicious Devonshire teas will be available every weekend or bring a picnic.

Youngsters are invited to go on a Bear Hunt (teddy variety) while adults may find just what they are looking for in our 'Treats and Treasures' gift shop (sorry, no Eftpos).

However you spend your time, you can be sure of a warm welcome from our friendly Pioneer-costumed volunteers.
